$ORCL
Oracle after the bell…what are we thinking?
Stock peaked at $345, cut by more than half now at $150.
Liberation day lows were $125.
Credit default swaps have already spiked so the market has priced in the default risk on their debt.
RPO is still $300B+ but most of that is OpenAI which is still confusing to investors on if OpenAI would pay.
Ellison is also levered up to help finance the $WBD deal.
$NBIS $IREN $CIFR and all the datacenter plays probably will be waiting to react to Oracle results…free cash flow is going to be gone but after a few years, if all this buildout does result in ROI, we are looking at a name thats trading sub 20x fwd earnings with massive RPO commitments.
I want to say they have a good earnings but any talk of financing that isn’t attractive to the market can easily scare investors.
Anyone long/short into the print?
